Family Meeting in Pretoria

Morning all Simone had a long day at the Doctors rooms today, her Papa decided he would like to join us and hear what the Dr has to say about the upcoming events.
We started with Chest X rays at 10H15 then off  to Sonar at 10H45, ECG 11H48, Lung exercise Spirometer.
Then we were off to the Dr's room for all the meetings. We met with the Accounts department, Social Worker, Donor Team and lastly at the end of the day we saw Dr Brittain. He went through everything regarding the Donor and the Process that waits ahead  for us.

23 November - Unitas hospital for Radiation 4 days
26 November - Pretoria East Hospital
27 November - Chemo starts today and will run for four days then she has two days rest before the transplant
28 November - 4 days of ATG which is known as Horse / Rabbit serum, this helps to paralyze Simone's Bone marrow so the New Bone marrow can come in and take over her body.
3 December - Stem Cells Arrive for the Transplant.
4 December till 24 December is recovery period.
